Andrew Heaney
Andrew Heaney was an All-State pitcher for Putnam City in 2009 who was drafted by the Tampa Bay Rays, but opted to play collegiate baseball instead at Oklahoma State. As a Junior at OSU, he was named the Big 12 Pitcher of the Year and a First Team NCAA All-American. Drafted in the first round by the Miami Marlins that year, he has also spent time with the Los Angeles Angels, Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Yankees, Texas Rangers and Pittsburgh Pirates. Heaney was the AL Rookie of the Month in July of 2015 and was the Opening Day starter for the Angels in 2020.
