Brian Tallet
Brian Tallet was a 2x Honorable Mention All-State player at West. He was drafted by the Marlins, but opted to play Junior College ball at Hill College. He was drafted after his first season of juco ball by the Yankees, but chose to stay. He signed with LSU after juco. He was drafted by the Pirates, but opted to come back for his senior season. As a senior, he led the Tigers to the NCAA National Championship and was named an All-American. He was drafted by Cleveland in 2000. Brian pitched 9 seasons with Cleveland, St. Louis and Toronto. He won a World Series with the St. Louis Cardinals in 2011.
