Damon Stell
Damon Stell was a two-sport star for Putnam City North in the mid-1980’s. In the Fall, he was a First Team All-State football player. In the Spring, he was an All-City baseball player for the Panthers. He was the first PC North player to receive a football scholarship to the University of Oklahoma. As a Sooner, he lettered four seasons as a running back. He won a National Championship under Coach Barry Switzer in 1985 when OU defeated Penn State in the Orange Bowl. He also enjoyed an Orange Bowl victory over Arkansas in the 1986 season. After college, he signed as a free agent with the Green Bay Packers.
