Gladys Griffin Zukerman
Gladys Griffin Zukerman was a softball standout at Putnam City West and at the University of Central Oklahoma. Griffin helped lead the Patriots to two state championships in high school. Her accomplishments at PC West did not go unnoticed as she signed with UCO. As a Broncho, Griffin was a 4x All-American. She set career records in six categories and single season records in seven categories. She threw three perfect games, twelve no-hitters and twelve one-hitters. Gladys was inducted into the UCO Athletic Hall of Fame in 1992, the NAIA Hall of Fame in 1997 and UCO retired her jersey in 1997.
