Ashli Barrett Wigington
Ashli (Barrett) Wigington was a two sport All-State athlete at Putnam City West, earning the honor in softball and basketball in 1997. Her abilities on the softball field earned her a scholarship to the University of Oklahoma, where she was a superstar on a team full of talent. Wigington was a 4x All-Big 12 selection and a 2x NCAA All-American. She helped to lead the Sooners to their first ever NCAA National Championship in 2000 and finished her career as a Sooner as the program’s all-time leader in homeruns and RBI’s. Wigington was the seventh overall pick in the 2001 Women’s Professional Softball League draft.
