Steve Largent
Steve Largent was a Coaches' All-State selection in both football & baseball as a senior for the Pirates. He helped lead PC to a state title on the baseball diamond that year. He went on to play football at the University of Tulsa where he has since had his jersey retired. He had a 14-year NFL career with the Seattle Seahawks. A 7x Pro Bowl selection, and the NFL Man of the Year in 1988, Largent was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1995. Seattle also retired his jersey and put him in their Ring of Honor. To complete the trifecta, Putnam City retired his jersey in 2024.
