Stacey Johnson
Stacey Johnson was regarded as one of the top softball High School pitchers in the nation during her time at Putnam City North. She took those talents to Louisiana Tech where she is a legend. She was a First Team All-American in 1986 and a 4x All-Region selection. She was also an Academic All-American. She finished her career with school records for fewest walks allowed in a game as well as career strikeouts and ERA. The top four ERA’s for a season in school history are her Senior, Freshman, Sophomore and Junior years. She was inducted into the Louisiana Tech Hall of Fame in 1998 and her jersey number is on the outfield wall at their stadium, forever retired by the school.
