Scott Tinsley
Former Putnam City West football Coach Mike Little called Scott Tinsley “the best athlete I’ve ever been around”. Tinsley showed that on the field as a Patriot, leading the team to a state finals appearance against Putnam City in 1977. Tinsley was the co-player of the year in Oklahoma that season (with PC QB Kelly Phelps) and a Parade All-American. He also played in the Faith 7 basketball All-Star game and was an All-City baseball player. His talents led him to Los Angeles where he played football for the USC Trojans. There, he was a member of the 1978 National Championship team. Tinsley played for the Los Angeles Rams and Philadelphia Eagles after college.
